NSW: Mission Australia launches national youth appeal

SYDNEY, Feb 25 AAP - Actor Diarmid Heidenreich knows what it's like to hit rock bottom.
Heidenreich, who shot to fame as Dougie the pizza boy in a series of Pizza Hut ads,also spent time in jail following a serious car accident.
Speaking today at the launch of Mission Australia's national youth appeal in Sydney,Heidenreich explained how his involvement with a bad crowd prompted a downward spiralthat landed him in jail.
He said drinking and drug-taking had taken control of his life, until one day everythingcame crashing down.
